Description
Tree in a Solitary Oasis in the Valley is an original work created in watercolor with brown, gray, and green tones, ink, and pencil on cardstock (2026, Minusio, Switzerland). The maximum external dimensions, including the mat and without a frame, are 30 × 40 cm.
In a desert valley, a seemingly inhospitable rock face allows a small oasis to emerge from a crevice: bushes and shrubs gather around a tree growing in balance over the void. The warm tones of the rock dialogue with the softer greens of the oasis, while the ink and pencil lines define the cracks in the stone and the texture of the foliage. A few birds approach from above, drawn to this unexpected point of life, suspended in the silence of the valley.
The tree becomes a bridge between the hardness of the rock and the lightness of the birds in flight: an invitation to recognize the inner places where life resists and flourishes nonetheless. Work sold with a mat, without a frame; ready to be framed.
