Gordana Majic

My name is Gordana, and I am a landscape and abstract artist. My works reflect what I feel deep within: the richness of nature and the beauty of the soul. Born in 1974, I have dedicated much of my life to the art of beauty as a hairstylist. A profession that taught me to see the world through aesthetics, detail, and the care of those before me.

For years, I painted in secret, transforming canvases with the same passion I used to style my clients’ hair. It was something I felt deeply, but I was not ready to share it. Today, I have decided that it is time to do so.

My paintings are born from misty mountains, infinite skies, and trees that whisper stories. But also from abstract visions, dreams, and intuitions. I am a dreamer, and I believe that every work is a dialogue between the conscious and the unconscious. Both have the right to be heard.

I am not alone on this journey. Oscar and Bambi, my two cats, are my daily companions in the studio. I watch them move with the grace that only animals possess, capturing moments of pure joy in their play. Their movements, their curiosity, their freedom… everything enters my work, whether I intend it or not.

Nature remains my primary muse. Whether it is a landscape observed from a window or an abstraction born from a dream at night, I always seek to capture one thing: the celebration of life itself. Of its beauty, its complexity, and its infinite richness. Because I believe this is the true meaning of art.
