Description
Under the Golden Foliage is an original work created in watercolor with golden touches, ink and pencil on semi-rough paper (2026, Minusio, Switzerland). The maximum outer dimensions, including mat and without frame, are 30 × 40 cm.
The work celebrates the relationship between protection and growth, immersed in an early autumn atmosphere. At the center of the composition stands a large tree with a broad canopy, whose golden yellow leaves capture and reflect light in a vibrant, enveloping pattern. The watercolor rendering, enriched with golden touches, creates a radiant effect: the light seems to diffuse through the foliage, transforming the tree into a living, welcoming presence.
At its feet, a small sapling grows beneath this natural cover and suggests an intimate, protective bond, similar to that between parent and child. In the background, the lake and reeds define a calm, stable horizon.
