Description
Small Abstract Garden 3 is an original work created in watercolor, acrylic and India ink on canvas board (2026, Minusio, Switzerland). The maximum dimensions of the artwork, without mat and without frame, are 25 × 25 cm.
In this small square format, marks and suggestions compose an interior garden, more evoked than represented. Soft and transparent areas of color alternate with more substantial zones, where acrylic introduces different thicknesses and intensities. Petals, leaves and landscape fragments seem to emerge and dissolve, leaving the eye free to find personal shapes, flowers and pathways.
The India ink, subtle yet decisive, builds a graphic texture that dialogues with the watercolor washes and the acrylic brushstrokes. The layering of techniques generates a rich interplay of textures, alternating smoother surfaces and textured areas, and gives depth to the small format.
A contemporary abstract garden, colorful and dynamic, conceived as a visual accent capable of bringing a fragment of imaginary nature into any space, alone or paired with other works in the series. Artwork sold without mat and without frame.
