Description
“Golden Textured Waves 2” is an abstract work on canvas board where acrylic paint interacts with strips of crumpled canvas, soaked in glue and modeled in relief, to create a fluid and dynamic movement on a teal background. The light, almost pearlescent bands flow diagonally like waves or ribbons across the space, interspersed with golden inserts that catch the light and a dense constellation of small painted dots, resembling rain, snow, or particles suspended in the air. The surface is never completely smooth: the folds and thickness of the hardened fabric make the painting tactile and vibrant, inviting the eye to follow the sinuous paths of the forms.
