Description
Suspended Seasons — Nascent Green is an original work created in watercolor and India ink on paper in 2026 in Minusio, Switzerland. The painting measures 19.5 × 19.5 cm and is presented with a wide white mount, protective glass, and a black wooden frame with a fluted profile. The overall external dimensions of the framed work are 38 × 38 cm.
In the heart of the woods, light filters through the trees, igniting a range of light greens, yellow-greens, and earthy shadows. Two bushes in the foreground rise like young and vibrant presences, while the taller trunks gradually fade into the brightness of the background. At the sides, the darker foliage defines the scene and guides the eye toward the central opening.
The India ink builds a subtle texture of branches, grasses, and botanical silhouettes, while the watercolor overlays transparent glazes that give the landscape an atmosphere of freshness and awakening. It is not a forest described literally, but a suspended place, traversed by a light that seems to slowly give birth to color.
Part of the Suspended Seasons series, Nascent Green represents one of the most luminous variations in the collection. The small format concentrates the gaze on a fragment of silent and vital nature, while the deep black frame and wide mount enhance its presence. Work sold with a fluted black frame, white mount, and protective glass; ready to hang.
