Description
Suspended Seasons — Veiled Green is an original work created in watercolor and India ink on paper in 2026 in Minusio, Switzerland. The painting measures 29 × 29 cm and is presented in a complete display with a wide white mount, protective glass, and a black wooden frame. The external dimensions of the framed work are 54 × 54 cm.
Amidst delicate greens, light shadows, and luminous glazes, the forest takes shape through a weave of slender trunks and dark branches. The India ink creates sharp, deep vertical lines, while the watercolor allows a milky light to filter through the trees and gather in the background. The undergrowth, more intense and textured, guides the eye toward the center of the scene, where the space opens into a quiet mist.
The painting evokes an undefined moment, suspended between the awakening of nature and the silence of a changing season. The green is neither bright nor descriptive: it appears veiled, restrained, as if observed through morning dampness or the memory of a walk in the woods.
Part of the Suspended Seasons series, the work explores the transformation of the landscape through chromatic and atmospheric variations. It can be displayed individually as a calm and luminous presence, or paired with other works in the series to create a dialogue between green, pink, red, and golden tones. Work sold with a black frame, white mount, and protective glass; ready to hang.
