Description
Suspended Seasons — Dawn Green is an original work created in watercolor and ink on paper in 2026 in Minusio, Switzerland. The painting measures 29 × 29 cm and is presented with a wide white mat, protective glass, and a black wooden frame. The overall external dimensions of the framed work are 54 × 54 cm.
The forest opens up in a fresh light, crossed by pale shades of green, gray, and blue. The tall trees rise vertically, almost dissolving into the brightness of the background, while at the sides, the light foliage creates a botanical frame open toward the center. In the foreground, a more defined shrub introduces a note of small, concrete life, in dialogue with the fine lines of the ink.
The watercolor works through light glazes and transparencies, letting the paper breathe and giving the scene an almost morning-like quality. The landscape seems captured in the instant the mist rises and the forest slowly becomes visible again: a moment of transition, silent and luminous.
Part of the Suspended Seasons series, the work explores the chromatic and atmospheric variations of the woodland landscape. Paired with Suspended Seasons — Veiled Green, it creates a dialogue between two different ways of observing green: one more intimate and shadowy, the other clearer, open, and airy. Work sold with a black frame, white mat, and protective glass; ready to hang.
