Description
The Little Girl and the Great Tree in the Peace Park is an original work created in watercolor, ink and pencil on semi-rough paper (2026, Minusio, Switzerland). The maximum outer dimensions, including mat and without frame, are 21 × 30 cm.
In delicate shades of gray, the painting stages an intimate encounter between a small human figure and the silent majesty of nature. At the center stands a large bare tree: the sinuous trunk rises with a gentle movement and the branches open like a fan against the pale sky. At its feet, a little girl in coat and hat stands still observing it, captured in a moment of wonder suspended between curiosity and respect.
In the background, the silhouettes of other trees and the soft profile of the mountains can be glimpsed, transforming the park into an intimate and sheltered space. The use of watercolor, ink and pencil highlights the gesture of drawing and the poetic expression of the scene.
A work dedicated to the silent dialogue between childhood and nature, between fragility and strength, in the peaceful atmosphere of the Peace Park overlooking the lake in Locarno. Work sold with mat, without frame; ready to be framed.
